New Quarterly Publication ‘Our Council’

Hornsby Shire Council has begun supply of the primary version of a new council magazine, free publication to all residents of the Local Government Area (LGA).
Titled ‘Our Council’, the publication is to be delivered quarterly to mailboxes all through Hornsby Shire and includes updates on major initiatives, data on services, local history and sustainability together with contact data for the Shire’s Mayor and each of its 9 councillors.

Hornsby Shire Mayor Philip Ruddock AO says the publication ensures that each one residents of the Shire really feel knowledgeable and up to date on Council tasks.

“To  New Quarterly Publication ‘Our Council’  of the net and digital gadgets, receiving a printed publication in the mail would possibly appear to be a hark back to the past.

But as a various and inclusive group, it’s essential that Council information and information reaches all residents, not simply those who incessantly use social media,” stated Mayor Ruddock.

The first edition of the publication contains updates on projects at Hornsby Park and Westleigh Park, latest waste and recycling information, Council’s efforts in mitigating significant street harm over the earlier years, and maps current upgrades and new builds delivered for the community.
